  • Stipend: Scholars receive a monthly stipend of Php 10,000 for up to 10 school months.

For Students in Private Universities:

  • Stipend: Scholars enrolled in private universities receive a monthly stipend of Php 5,000 for up to 10 school months.

Terms and Conditions

To maintain eligibility and continue receiving support, scholars are expected to adhere to the following terms and conditions:

  • The scholarship begins in the first year of the tertiary course and continues until graduation in the same course.
  • Enrollment for at least the minimum required units/load per term is mandatory.
  • Scholars must maintain a general weighted average of at least 86% and an 80% per subject grade by the end of each term.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Security Bank Foundation Scholarship program, applicants must meet certain criteria:

  • Must be a graduating Grade 12 student from a public or private school.
  • Should have a latest General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90% or its equivalent.
  • No parent must be currently employed/assigned at Security Bank.
  • No other family member should be admitted to the scholarship within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity.
  • Applicants should not have any existing scholarship, except for school-provided discounts.
  • Enrolling in any of the eight partner schools in NCR is mandatory.

  • Latest Grade 12 Report Card with Final General Weighted Average (or latest available quarter grading if the final GWA is not available).
  • Latest Parent/Guardian's Income Tax Return (for employed)/Certificate of Indigency (for unemployed)/Copy of OFW Employment Contract with Compensation.
  • Proof of Admission/Acceptance Letter from any of the 8 Partner Schools.
  • Birth Certificate of the Scholar.
  • Portrait Photo of the Scholar.

Application Period

For the academic year (AY) 2023 – 2024, the application period is as follows:

  • Opening of Applications: May 2, 2023
  • Deadline of Applications: July 15, 2023

Scholarship Renewal

Scholars are required to renew their scholarship every school term (i.e., semester/trimester). The following documents must be submitted for renewal:

  • Online Renewal Form.
  • Certificate of Enrollment/Registration Form for the next school term.
  • Report Card/Transcript of Records indicating the general weighted average for the previous school term.
  • Assessment of fees.
  • Updated grading system from the school or university.
  • Reconsideration Letter (only if the scholar fails to meet the per subject grade requirement).
